About Me
I was born in a small town in Italy and fell in love with English in high school, thanks to a great American teacher and the Beatles.
I started my quest to immerse myself into this new, fascinating language and spent all the time I had learning, translating songs and looking for books. My appetite kept growing and as soon as I graduated high school I moved to the small town of Aldermaston, Reading, UK. I was an au pair for a family with a 2 year old child who owned a pub. The experience changed my life and helped shaping the person I am today.
After returning to Italy I kept looking for ways to spend time around English, grow my "second language brain" and after a short stint working for the American Military Base in Aviano I moved to Nashville TN to be an au pair again.
Fast forward a few years, after acquiring a BA in marketing at Tennessee State University I joined a small wine distributor called 100% Italiano and started teaching Italian and interpreting.
I soon learned that I was passionate about educating people, both about my language, culture and about wine while making it fun and approachable for everyone.
I hope you'll come share this passion and quest with me.
